HOW BLOODY GOOD IS MUSIC THOUGH?

The Butler Did It is just a wanky name for a few guys making music. After finally deciding to pull their finger out, TBDI started writing music midway through 2019. Attempting to capture the sound of less depressing Radiohead/more depressing Red Hot Chilli Peppers, TBDI began to find a unique and varied musical voice. 'Varied' really is the key word here, best described as alt-rock, TBDI combines the satisfying drive of punk-rock, with clean, soaring vocals to polish it off. As they begin to come out of the cave of composition, make sure to stay tuned for some half decent music. Coming soon to a pretentious, indie music store near you.

Ethan (2).jpg

ETHAN

Drummer

Ethan’s just brilliant. Less than a year ago he absolutely THREW himself into drumming, and has emerged with skills and intuition well beyond his experience level. I’d be lying if I said the rest of us aren’t a bit intimidated by his ability to pick up new skills. But don’t tell him that, (we don’t want him leaving us for another band).

TIM

Frontman

Tim is probably the last person you’d expect to front a rock band. Growing up in choirs from the age of six, his experience has been predominantly in Jazz and Classical voice. His dulcet tones provide a distinct sound, cutting through the mix with clarity and power.

RYAN

Guitarist

Ryan is probably the first person you’d expect to play guitar in a rock band. Ryan has been playing guitar since his school days. His unique style of arrangement allows him to fuse rhythm and lead guitar parts in a brilliant way. If you ever see cousin It on stage playing a guitar, don’t worry, it’s just Ryan.

SEAN

Bassist

Sean is a bass player who refuses to accept a boring bass line, as all great bassists should. He first fell in love with the bass guitar jamming in a shed with Ryan, in their high school band “Hierarchy of Chaos”. From these humble origins, Sean has developed a great ear for fitting banging bass lines into the mix.
